"Hello, I am Saffi Price, I live and work in Wolverhampton. I have been inspired by Kate Raworth's book for a while, seeing Kate talk at Impact Hub in Birmingham a couple of years ago and following the journey of Doughnut Economics Action Lab. I wanted to engage more deeply with Kate's ideas and not found a way to do this. I had also been really interested in Enrol Yourself's Learning Journey framework and was yet to find a way to take part. Just by chance, I saw a tweet that caught my eye and I immediately knew I want to apply for this fantastic opportunity.
As part of my role I co-ordinate a social lab working with people to design and activate their great ideas that when connected together help to create a participative culture and a people-powered city. Some of the lab team are joining me on the peer-to-peer learning journey and we hope to zoom in to design within a particular neighbourhood with local people. I am excited that we will be able to work at a hyper local level during this journey and around a specific area of change we want to make. We are designing in around a fantastic community space which means we can leave a legacy from our work and designing."
